Reflections in Ink: From Moleskine to the Web

Ideas wither & die all the time unless you catch them in that magical moment they flutter through your minds eye.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

The ink flows - the pen knows

Interdimensionality, where is your originality?

At 19, I purchased a black Moleskine brand notebook from walmart. I had just started my first internship and needed somewhere to complete a couple of “homework assignments” one involved writing my vision plan. I still reflect on it, it’s truly amazing what can happen when you just slow down and write things out.

There’s really no trick to content creation - you just do it. Everything from intricately detailed breakdowns of complex and sophisticated storylines of a video game to a talking head standing in front of another talking head on a screen in the digital world. It all boils down to (maybe) one thing: consume content > add your flavor > share content (insert dissertation of various arguments surrounding Original Content and if anything is original anymore here). It doesnt matter how. Video, writing, sound recording. All matter. The question of whether or not you will attain success comes down to your true intentions.

The eternal question of man remains as follows: Can you organize your Life so that it is good?

Previously, I’ve attempted several times to blog and create websites and more, due to regulatory standards or life changes I havent been as persistent and steady but when I can I add to them. Once, I let a blog tied to a domain name go: www.frugalson.com - it was my first attempt at a brand. Content still exists, though never grew legs - my fault. I had to let the domain go as I got hired on at Edward Jones. I wish compliance wasnt so boxy - that domain last I checked (and afraid to check the value of now) was at around $2,000. Maybe it was due to my sharing of my views of personal finance, or maybe it was because it sounded like a liquor store brand. Either way, that was one of my first lessons in investing. Then, I tried to incorporate my love of writing into the blog section of my investment firm. It changed names after my business partner abruptly left, filing their U5. I had other ideas previously too, in college I wanted to upload my essays and projects from all my schooling at School Essays and Projects (to date, this is my highest view count attempt at monetizing my work) I even went so far as to self publish a book based on a project at the Junior level of College.

This is my attempt at gathering all the things that have brought me joy and happiness into one digital location
