Book Overviews, Highlights, and Discussion
I absolutely love books and I love the insights and education they can provide. I love exploring all different kinds of non-fiction perspectives and views, and books allow insights and introspection that is simply unattainable from a news article or conversation.
Capitalism & Freedom
A fantastic book, please give it the attention it deserves by picking up a copy and diving in. Recommended reading for entrepreneurs, economists, and investors.
Keynes’ General Theory
A beast of a book and a beast of a video. This is such a great dive for entrepreneurs and economist’ alike. You’ll definitely become a Keynes acolyte after this one!
The Road to Serfdom
I slept on this one for far too long. Though some of the definitions have changed, it’s still a majorly relevant book. Professor Hayek deserves more recognition.
Ready. Fire. Aim.
Alex Hormuz turned me on to this one, though I don’t have a major desire to run a $100mm company, I did enjoy the insights and outlooks. The end is especially pertinent and prevalent to organizations of all sizes.
Doppelganger
Naomi is my favorite eco-feminist. Her insights in her book “The Shock Doctrine” is equally matched by Chomsky’s “Manufacturing Consent”
Doppelgänger provides a post-covid world analysis and details what’s important and what’s being packaged and sold in this “influencer” culture.
